In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “GDPR”), we kindly inform you that the administrator of your personal data is EU Shields Sp. z o. o. 3. We collect and process the following personal data:

3.1. Name and surname or company name, phone number, email address – when filling out the contact form, you will be asked to provide this data in order to send an inquiry.
3.2. IP address – information resulting from general principles of Internet connections, such as the IP address (and other information contained in system logs), is used by the server administrator for technical purposes.
3.3. Cookies – our website uses Cookies technology to customize the service to your individual needs. Users can consent to have entered data remembered and reused during subsequent visits to the website. Owners of other websites will not have access to this data. If you do not agree to personalize the website, we suggest disabling cookies in your web browser’s settings.

4. We do not store confidential data.

5.1. to fulfill the concluded agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR Dz. Urz. UE. L 2016 No 119), as well as based on separate non-obligatory consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The legal basis for data processing is the performance of the concluded agreement and your consent.
5.2. for marketing, offering, sending newsletters based on a separate non-obligatory consent;
5.3. for tax and accounting purposes (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR);
5.4. for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
5.5. for the establishment and maintenance of business relationships (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR);
5.6. for data archiving (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Your personal data may be transferred to third parties for the purpose of processing them to the extent necessary to perform and settle the concluded agreement, for which separate consent is not required.

7. Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

8. The retention period of your personal data depends on its purpose and the type of consent given:

8.1. Data obtained with your consent will be processed until the consent is withdrawn. In other cases, data will only be processed to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out based on the consent before its withdrawal. 8.2. Data processed for the purpose of establishing, asserting, or defending against claims arising from our business activities will be processed until the claims expire under the applicable law.
8.3. Data processed in connection with the issuance and storage of invoices and other accounting documents will be processed for a period of 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the transaction occurred, unless the regulations governing the data retention period for this purpose change.
8.4. Data processed to perform a contract will be processed until its completion, and data processed to establish business relationships will be processed until the contract is concluded.

9. We inform you that you have the right to:

9.1. access your data in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR;
9.2. rectify your data in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR;
9.3. request the erasure of your data in cases specified in Article 17(1) of the GDPR, with exceptions listed in Article 17(3) of the GDPR;
9.4. request the restriction of processing in cases specified in Article 18 of the GDPR;

9.6. object to the processing of personal data concerning you when it is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and there are grounds related to your particular situation.

1.1. On this website, like almost every other website, we use cookies.

1.1. We use the Google Analytics tool provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to create statistics and analyze our website for optimization.
1.2. Google Analytics automatically collects information on how you use our website. The information collected in this way is often transferred to servers in the United States and stored there.
1.3. Google LLC is based in the USA and uses technical infrastructure located in the USA, where the GDPR and other EU regulations do not apply. Nevertheless, in order to operate legally in EU countries, including Poland, Google LLC has joined the EU-US Privacy Shield program to ensure an adequate level of data protection required by European regulations. Under the agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has confirmed an adequate level of data protection for companies holding the Privacy Shield certificate.
1.4. You can prevent the registration of data collected by Google Analytics cookies regarding your use of our website and the processing of this data by Google by installing a browser plugin available at the following address: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

2. Additionally, please note that by displaying our website, which contains plugins from external social media services (LinkedIn), your browser will establish a direct connection with the servers of the administrators of these social media services. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly by the respective administrator to your browser and integrated with the website. As a result, the administrators mentioned above receive information that your browser has displayed our website, even if you do not have a profile with that administrator or are not currently logged in with them. This information (along with your IP address) is transmitted directly by your browser to the server of the respective service provider (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of the individual external administrators.
